Lynn Martel graduated from McGill University in 1991 in Germanistic Studies with electives in Business Administration. During her time at the University, she taught Organizational Behavior and was considered a member of management faculty through in McGill’s unique Course Counselor program.

Throughout her career, Lynn Martel gained extensive experience in Sales, with a particular emphasis on Customer Service. Her grounded and personable approach paved the way to Lynn’s eventual success as a business leader in Quebec.

Lynn Martel joined Dormez-vous in January 1995 as a manager of the first Dormez-vous store, in Dollard-des-Ormeaux. From 1995 to date, Lynn has contributed to the growth of Dormez-vous by influencing each department and promoting the fundamental values of “Putting the Customer First” throughout the organization. She was promoted to Vice-President in 1998.

Today, Lynn manages Dormez-vous’ various community initiatives. Her involvement in these spheres led to her becoming the voice and face of Dormez-vous, as their official Spokesperson, a most natural evolution.

In 2008, Lynn took on a greater role in the areas of Communications and Public Relations for the company, solidifying her role and commitment to the many causes that Dormez-vous believes in. Her focus on corporate social responsibility is evident from various campaigns such as Backpacks for Kids, Adopt a Sheep program, Give a Kid a Coat, mattress recycling, donated bed program and many more. Through these programs, Lynn and Dormez-vous have been able to give back to the many communities in which the company operates their business.

Lynn applies the same intensity and passion for a positive customer experience as she does to the various community outreach programs Dormez-vous spearheads in both the Montreal and in Quebec City regions. The success of these various community programs is a testament to the values shared by both Lynn Martel and Dormez-vous.
